Dubai RTA Reminds E-scooter Riders To Follow Safety Rules

E-scooters are emerging as a favourite way to travel around Dubai. The Roads and Transport Authority has now urged e-scooter riders to follow safety precautions to protect themselves and others on the roads. The RTA has outlined a few essential safety measures for riders to ensure a secure experience.

Users are advised to stick to the speed limits posted along e-scooter paths and to avoid venturing outside designated or shared lanes. Wearing protective gear, such as a helmet and bright or reflective clothing, is strongly recommended to stay visible on the roads. Riders should also keep a safe distance from other e-scooters, bicycles, and pedestrians to prevent accidents.
