Airbus Planning To Manufacture A400M Aircraft Components In UAE

Airbus is planning to manufacture significant A400M aircraft components in the UAE. Gabriel Simellas, President of Airbus Africa and Middle East, said that this strategic initiative would facilitate deeper integration of UAE-based entities, including EPI and Strata, into the global aerospace supply chain.

In statements to the Emirates News Agency, Gabriel Simellas also added that Airbus is developing plans to establish comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities for the A400M aircraft, in addition to a training centre. These developments are projected to solidify the country's standing as a premier regional hub for aviation excellence. Gabriel Simellas said that the company will implement training and technical support initiatives, as well as cultivate industrial collaborations designed to equip the UAE workforce with cutting-edge expertise.
