Madeena, Saudi Arabia: The sea embraces the beautiful town of Al-Rais in almost every detail. It has a unique privacy, made by a picturesque marine nature, white sands that cover its quiet beaches, and its silence is broken only by the sea waves, and the sounds of birds, making it a destination for hikers, recreational enthusiasts, and fishermen.

"Al-Rais" is located on the coast of the Red Sea, with a distance of 180 km - west of Medina - and belongs to the Badr Governorate, and is a tourist outlet for the people of the Medina region and many governorates and neighbouring areas, but visitors from all regions of the Kingdom, where it has witnessed in recent years a remarkable interest in the development of the infrastructure of public services, the preparation of secondary streets and main roads, sidewalks and afforestation, the preparation of maritime sessions, and the support and development of small investment projects to take advantage of the tourist potential of the country to attract tourists and stimulate the economic movement and its prosperity.

The "Was" lens toured the most prominent places and tourist attractions in the Al-Rais Centre, which is a destination for fishermen in the region, where fishing boats sail from its beach daily, which revived the movement of sale in fish and seafood restaurants that spread in the city of the centre, and provides hikers with the possibility of eating it fresh.

Citizen Mohammed Al-Saidi, a resident of Al-Rais Centre, says that the town is witnessing an increase in the number of parks, especially during the summer, on weekends, national events and holidays, pointing to the need for the availability of housing services such as furnished apartments and hotels more, to enhance the competitiveness of the sector, and to support the revitalisation of the tourism sector in Al-Rais.

He added that the tourist components in Al-Rais, with its limited population of not exceeding thousands, enable it to host many community events, such as holding seasonal marine sports competitions, dhow races, family sea picnic programs, or organising seafood festivals, in a way that enhances the attraction of visitors to the region, which has many tourist attractions, sourced from warm blue waters, pristine beaches, and sea breeze.

Citizen Salem Al-Subhi says: The geographical location of Al-Rays has made it have an economic impact since ancient times, as the "Neighbour Port" in Al-Rais remained one of the most prominent elements of attracting residents to the place hundreds of years ago. It was one of the most important ports that had an impact on economic activity in the area of Medina in the past, pointing to the ancient traces of Al-Rays that still exist so far refer to the population centers, which reflects its commercial impact, as it was a major terminal in which sea-borne cargo ships docked.

He pointed out that Al-Rays includes many tourist attractions and components that have received the attention of the relevant authorities during the last period, most notably the new corniche, which has been developed, the preparation of the road between the Corniche and the entrance to the centre, the addition of aesthetic elements, and the implementation of family sessions and children's games along the sea corniche, pointing out that many fishing enthusiasts enjoy fishing in the Al-Breekah area, where fishermen go to the sea with small boats to fish the finest fish.

Family outings in the beaches of Al-Rice are the most important source of its economic activity, as families visit them throughout the year, to enjoy its quiet beach, sit on the shores of the sea, watch the view of the sunset, and spend a whole day on a sea walk that is not without eating a fish meal from seafood restaurants on the commercial street adjacent to the northern Al-Rais Corniche.
