Business Aviation Movements: Dubai South Sets New Record

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has marked strong growth in private jet movements in 2024. MBRAH registered a historic 17,891 movements last year, which is a 7% increase over 2023, marking the highest-ever private jet activity in Dubai. In December alone, over 2,600 movements were recorded.

According to the Dubai Media Office report, the growth is driven by various factors, including the emirate's status as a year-round global hub for tourism, leisure and entertainment events, and business activities. It is worth mentioning that Dubai welcomed 18.72 million international visitors last year.

"This milestone reaffirms Al Maktoum International Airport’s status as the busiest airport for business aviation movements in the Middle East," said Tariq Bin Ghalaita, General Aviation Director at MBRAH, in a statement. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub offers global aerospace players high-level connectivity and is a free-zone destination for leading airlines, private jet companies, and associated industries.
