US President Donald Trump is set to land in Saudi Arabia today, May 13. Trump will attend the Gulf-US summit in Riyadh on May 14, before travelling to Qatar that same day and then ending his three-day trip in the UAE on May 15. It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia was the first country Donald Trump visited during his first term as well.
Donald Trump's visit underscores the United States' recognition of Saudi Arabia's significant regional and global standing and its commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership. It also highlights the US administration's focus on enhancing bilateral relations in political, defense, economic, and investment sectors.

Meanwhile, the White House said that Donald Trump was making a “historic return to the Middle East”. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reportedly said Trump's trip will "focus on strengthening ties" between the US and the Gulf nations.
