Erling Haaland Signs Record 10-Year Manchester City Contract

Erling Haaland has signed a 10-year contract with Manchester City that will keep him at the club until 2034. The exact terms of the new deal have not been disclosed. The Norwegian striker's previous contract with the club was set to run until 2027. The contract is the longest signed by a player in the history of the Premier League.
“Manchester City is a special Club, full of fantastic people with amazing supporters and it’s the type of environment that helps bring the best out of everybody," said 24-year-old Haaland in a statement. The centre forward's latest contract sees him commit the majority of his career to the club, with the deal expiring around the time of his 34th birthday.
Haaland joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022. He has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup at the club. Haaland has scored 111 times in 126 appearances for Manchester City.
