Google Pay Arrives In Saudi Arabia
Google Pay is enabled by the national payment system in Saudi Arabia

Google has announced the official launch of Google Pay and Google Wallet in Saudi Arabia. The service will be available to all users in the coming weeks, according to a blog post released by the tech giant on Monday. In January, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and Google signed an agreement to roll out the service in the country.
Google Pay, which is enabled by the national payment system (mada) in Saudi Arabia, is available to users of the following banks (Al Rajhi Bank and Riyad Bank). The company noted that additional banks will be rolled out gradually.The launch of the new payment service aligns with SAMA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s digital payments ecosystem as part of Saudi Vision 2030.
