Inauguration of West Qassim Airport and Al-Ahsa International Airport Expansion

Riyadh: Tomorrow, April 24, the highly anticipated West Qassim Airport project will be inaugurated on a vast area estimated at 17.6 million square meters. Fayez Al-Shuaili, Chairman of the Al-Rass Chamber, confirmed the news, highlighting the strong support received from the Emirate of Qassim Region and the Investment Development Committee, along with the community initiative led by the Al-Rass Chamber of Commerce.

The Al-Rass Chamber has taken charge of implementing the project, with operational and management responsibilities falling under the purview of the Saudi Aviation Club. The airport boasts a range of services dedicated to sports aviation, including gliding and parachuting. Notably, it will house a groundbreaking center for remote aircraft control, a first of its kind. Moreover, the airport aims to cater to aviation enthusiasts of all kinds, providing opportunities for training, entertainment, and showcasing investment prospects within the aviation sector.

In a related development, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, will also inaugurate the expansion and development of Al-Ahsa International Airport.
