ISC Malayalam Wing Balakalolsavam Concludes in Salalah

Salalah: The Balakalolsavam organized by the Indian Social Club (ISC) Malayalam Wing in Salalah concluded with vibrant festivities. The competitions, which began on October 10, were held across three venues of the Indian Social Club over the span of three weeks. Around 600 students participated in various events. Competitions were conducted in 23 items across five categories.

Aarav Anoop won the Kalaprathibha title by securing 43 points. Kalathilakam was jointly awarded to Isha Fathima and Avantika Sanjeev, who scored 60 points each. The Bhasha Shri award was bagged by Aarav Anoop and Ameya Mehrin. In the Kids (Group 1 & 2) category, Arvin C.S. and Vedika Sreejith emerged as champions.

The valedictory ceremony, held at the ISC grounds under the banner “Malayalapperuma”, was presided over by Shabeer Kaladi, Convener of the Malayalam Wing. ISC Vice President Sunny Jacob, Dr. Aboobacker Siddique, D. Harikumar, and Shajil Kottayi conveyed their best wishes. Prominent community members such as O. Abdul Ghafoor, Tara Sanathanan, Praveen Kumar, and V.P. Abdul Salam Haji, along with sponsors, distributed the prizes.

Executive committee members including Sajeeb Jalal, Sabeer P.T., Sunil Narayanan, and Srividya Sreeji led the overall coordination of the event. Various cultural programmes curated by expert instructors were staged during the function. Hundreds of families attended the colourful concluding ceremony.
