Marvel’s 'The Fantastic Four' is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters, with global earnings on the verge of crossing the $500 million mark. The film, which stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, has been winning over audiences worldwide and now stands just $10 million short of the milestone (approximately ₹4,175 crores).

The movie has already cemented its place as one of 2025’s strongest performers, reinforcing the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s enduring ability to bring crowds to theatres. After five weeks on release, the film continues to hold steady, earning $6.2 million from international markets in its latest weekend. That pushed its overseas total to $233.2 million, while collections in the U.S. and Canada have reached $257.4 million. Together, the numbers bring the global tally to $490.5 million.

Box office analysts predict the film will cross the half-billion milestone within days and could ultimately finish its theatrical run with worldwide revenues between $515 million and $520 million. The steady trend, particularly in overseas markets, is expected to keep the film performing well in the weeks ahead. In terms of lifetime collections, 'The Fantastic Four' has already overtaken 'Venom: The Last Dance' and 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'. It is also closing in on surpassing 'Clash of the Titans'.

Directed by Matt Shakman, the film introduces Marvel Comics’ first superhero family to the MCU with a retro-futuristic 1960s setting. Alongside Pascal, the cast includes Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. The fresh take on the beloved characters has struck a chord with audiences, positioning 'The Fantastic Four' as one of Marvel’s most successful recent releases.
