Riyadh: On the sidelines of the prestigious LEAP24 event, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRC) took a significant step forward by signing an agreement with Saudi engineering company ACES for mobile infrastructure services.

The signing ceremony, witnessed by esteemed attendees including the Deputy CEO of Saudi Exim Bank, Cd'A Abu George, showcased the collaboration between MMRC and ACES. Managing Director of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, Ashwini Bhide, signed the agreement on behalf of MMRC.

This contract, awarded for a duration of 12 years, highlights the commitment of MMRC and ACES in spearheading mobile infrastructure services for Metro Line 3. ACES will be responsible for providing cutting-edge 4G and 5G technologies to serve over 625 million passengers annually across a 33.5-kilometer stretch. This includes ensuring seamless coverage, ultra-high-speed connectivity, and an enhanced user experience for commuters across 27 stations, platforms, concourse levels, and tunnels.

The partnership with ACES signifies the determination of Mumbai Metro to offer state-of-the-art mobile connectivity to its passengers, leveraging advanced technologies that align with the evolving needs of a modern transportation system. The collaboration embodies the vision of MMRC in providing a world-class commuting experience to the growing population of Mumbai.
