Neymar Extends Contract With Santos
Neymar rejoined his boyhood club in January

Neymar has signed a contract extension with his boyhood club Santos until December. The Brazilian forward's previous deal with the club was due to expire on June 30. Neymar rejoined the club in January following the termination of his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
"I made a decision and I listened to my heart," the 33-year-old said in a statement. "Santos is not just my team, it's my home, my roots, my history and my life. Here I was a boy who became a man, and I am truly loved. Here I can be myself, truly happy," Neymar added.

Meanwhile, sources told ESPN that the latest deal includes an option to extend his contract through the 2026 World Cup next summer. This year, Neymar has been limited to three goals and three assists in 15 games for Santos due to persistent muscular injuries. Santos currently sits 15th in the standings, having secured three wins in 12 games.
