Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, has launched the Dubai AI Academy, an initiative aimed at mainstreaming artificial intelligence (AI) education and advancing its adoption across major sectors of the economy. The initiative debuted during the inaugural Dubai AI Week 2025.

The Dubai AI Academy is part of the Dubai AI Campus, the region's dedicated cluster of AI and advanced technology firms. This initiative aims to train 10,000 leaders, establishing itself as a top source for AI training and certifications. The Academy will collaborate with renowned institutions, offering programmes that equip participants with the skills required to lead in an AI-enabled world, reported Dubai Media Office. Initial offerings will include ‘AI for Civil Service’, targeting government employees, and ‘Leadership in the Age of AI’, focused on strategic decision-making, ethics, and adaptability in tech-driven environments.
