UAE Unveils New Service To Verify Academic Degrees Of Private Sector Employees

UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced a digital integration project to enable the verification of academic qualifications. The service applies to private sector employers and skilled workers holding academic degrees from outside the UAE at skill levels 1 to 4 according to the National Qualifications Framework.

The initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), helps private sector employers to verify workers’ academic qualifications electronically. Users will be able to access the service through MoHRE’s digital platforms and business service centres across the UAE based on the approved terms listed on the Ministry’s website. Eventually, the service will also cover UAE-issued academic degrees for skill levels 1 to 4.

Through direct digital verification, the Academic Qualification Verification Project streamlines the employment process for both government and private sectors by ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of academic qualifications. This results in more reliable hiring, reduced paperwork, a streamlined, unified verification process with a one-time fee, and improved public-private collaboration.
