Saudi Tourism Development Fund and the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute have signed a strategic partnership agreement for joint activities in advancing projects and initiatives.

Under the agreement, signed on the sidelines of PRIORITY, FII Institute's latest event in New York, both parties will support curation of the upcoming edition of the FII forum in Riyadh, slated for October 25-27.

Qusai al Fakhri, CEO of the Tourism Development Fund said the partnership with the FII Institute would maximize collaboration as the two sides jointly strive towards encouraging investment in the Kingdom.

"We look forward to exploring together how the face of tourism is changing and how we can work with global efforts to make tourism growth sustainable," he said.

The sixth edition of FII Institute's flagship event, to be held in the Saudi capital, will provide a platform to convene the world's foremost CEOs, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs and young leaders in the tourism sector.

The event will include in-depth conversations about new pathways for global investment, analysis of critical industry trends, and unparalleled networking opportunities.

The Fund said its partnership with FII Institute was in line with its keenness to contribute to the institute's work and its investment in the four key pillars – sustainability, healthcare, education and artificial intelligence and robotics.

Richard Attias, CEO of the FII Institute, said this year's edition of FII would be even bigger and will address crucial global issues and challenges. "With our partners by our side, we look forward to another successful event," he said. The Tourism Development Fund was established to empower the domestic tourism sector, one of Saudi Arabia's most rapidly growing industries.

Aiming to facilitate local and international investors access to tourism investments across the country, the Fund's efforts align with Saudi Arabia's bold ambition to bolster the country's reputation as a top tourist destination.
