സത്യം പറയാന്‍ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരന്‍ അദ്ദേഹമാണെന്നും മെഹബൂബ മുഫ്തി പറഞ്ഞു
നിലവിലെ സ്വേച്ഛാധിപത്യ ഭരണത്തിനെതിരെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിയെ ചരിത്രം ഓര്‍മിക്കുമെന്ന് പി.ഡി.പി പ്രസിഡന്റ് മെഹബൂബ മുഫ്തി. സത്യം പറയാന്‍ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരന്‍ അദ്ദേഹമാണെന്നും അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
''രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിയെ പരിഹസിച്ചോളൂ, എന്നാല്‍ സത്യം സംസാരിക്കാന്‍ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരന്‍ അദ്ദേഹമാണ്. പുതിയ ഇന്ത്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ചുരുക്കം ചിലരുടെയും മുതലാളിമാരുടെയും പിടിയിലാണ്. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ഏകാധിപത്യ ഭരണത്തിനെതിരെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതിന് ചരിത്രം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഓര്‍മ്മിക്കും ''മെഹബൂബ മുഫ്തി ട്വിറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
