'ബൈ ജിനോസൈഡ് ജോ'; പടിയിറങ്ങുന്ന യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോ ബൈഡന് സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയിൽ വിമർശനം

വാഷിങ്ടൺ: യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് പദവിയിൽനിന്ന് പടിയിറങ്ങുന്ന ജോ ബൈഡനെതിരെ സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയിൽ പ്രതിഷേധം. കഴിഞ്ഞ 15 മാസമായി തുടരുന്ന ഗസ്സയിലെ ഇസ്രായേൽ വംശഹത്യക്ക് സമ്പത്തും ആയുധങ്ങളും നൽകി കൂടെനിന്നത് ബൈഡൻ ഭരണകൂടമായിരുന്നു. ഗസ്സ വംശഹത്യയുടെ നേതൃത്വം കൊടുത്തയാൾ എന്ന അർഥത്തിൽ മാത്രമായിരിക്കും ബൈഡൻ വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുകയെന്ന് വിമർശകർ പറയുന്നു.

ഇസ്രായേൽ-ഹമാസ് വെടിനിർത്തൽ കരാർ നിലവിൽ വന്ന ഇന്ന് (ജനുവരി 19) ആണ് യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് പദവിയിൽ ബൈഡന്റെ അവസാന ദിനം. പുതിയ പ്രസിഡന്റായ ഡൊണൾഡ് ട്രംപ് നാളെയാണ് അധികാരമേൽക്കുന്നത്. വെടിനിർത്തൽ കരാറിന്റെ ക്രെഡിറ്റ് ബൈഡനും ട്രംപും ഒരുപോലെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

2023 ഒക്ടോബർ ഏഴിന് തുടങ്ങിയ ഇസ്രായേൽ ആക്രമണത്തിന് 17.9 ബിലൺ ഡോളറിന്റെ സൈനിക സഹായമാണ് യുഎസ് നൽകിയത്. ഇസ്രായേൽ വംശഹത്യക്ക് എല്ലാ സഹായം നൽകിയ വ്യക്തിയെന്ന നിലയിലാണ് ബൈഡന് 'ജിനോസൈഡ് ജോ' എന്ന പേര് ലഭിച്ചത്.

''വെടിനിർത്തൽ ചർച്ചകളിലൂടെ ഇപ്പോൾ നടക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം, കൃത്യമായ സമ്മർദം ചെലുത്തി ബോംബുകളും ബില്യൺ കണക്കിന് ഡോളറുകളും നിരുപാധികമായി അയ്ക്കാൻ വിസമ്മതിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ബൈഡന് എങ്ങനെ ഈ വംശഹത്യയെ ഒന്നാം ദിവസം മുതൽ നിർത്താനാകുമെന്നതിനെ കൂടുതൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതാണ്''- ഫലസ്തീനിയൽ-അമേരിക്കൻ ഇമാം ഡോ. ഉമർ സുലൈമാൻ എക്‌സിൽ കുറിച്ചു.

ബൈഡന്റെ കാലം ജോർജ് ഡബ്ലിയു ബുഷിന്റെ ഭരണകാലത്തേക്കാൾ മോശമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് മറ്റൊരാൾ എക്‌സിൽ കുറിച്ചു. ഇറാഖിൽ അധിനിവേശം നടത്തിയ ബുഷ് 10 ലക്ഷം ഇറാഖികളെയാണ് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഗസ്സയിലെ വംശഹത്യക്ക് നൽകിയ പിന്തുണയുടെ പേരിൽ അമേരിക്കയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മോശം കാലമായി ബൈഡന്റെ ഭരണകാലം വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുമെന്നാണ് എക്‌സിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗം ആളുകളും അഭിപ്രായപ്പെടുന്നത്.
