IISJ Celebrates Republic Day With Grandeur

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) on Sunday, January 26. Fahad Ahmad Khan Suri, Consul General of India, was the chief guest of the event. The event was held in the school ground, and the entire atmosphere was filled with national pride as the Indian community came together to honour the Constitution of India.

School Managing Committee Chairperson Dr. Hemalatha Mahalingam, Principal Dr. Mohammad Imran, members of the School Managing Committee, other school officials, and ex-committee members were part of the event. To add a symbolic touch to the festivities of the day, the Consul General of India released the pigeons symbolising peace and freedom. The chief guest received the salute and also read out excerpts from the President of India’s speech and addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. Meanwhile, CBSE KSA toppers were felicitated for their remarkable academic achievements during the event.
