Trump's Doctor Says His MRI Results Are "Perfectly Normal"
Results showed normal heart and blood vessel structure, with no signs of reduced blood flow.

The White House doctor says President Trump “remains in excellent overall health” after completing a comprehensive executive physical. The memo, issued Monday by White House physician Captain Sean Barbabella, notes that advanced imaging of Trump’s heart and abdomen appeared “perfectly normal”. As the oldest president to take office, Trump underwent MRI scans in October as part of a semi-annual checkup, in addition to his routine physical in April. The updated report comes after Democrats, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, urged the White House to release more information about the scans given Trump’s age.
Barbabella said the results showed normal heart and blood vessel structure, with no signs of reduced blood flow. The White House did not explain why an MRI was done in October or specify which type of imaging was used. The memo said the purpose of the scan was “to identify issues early” and confirm overall health.
Dr Jeffrey Linder of Northwestern University noted that the statement leaves key details unclear, including what kind of scan was performed, and pointed out that such imaging is generally not recommended for people without symptoms. The White House has previously disclosed that Trump has chronic venous insufficiency, a vein condition that can cause swelling in the legs.
