He said he deliberately stays away from the Bollywood party scene and prefers to maintain a low-key presence. He also spoke about why his marriage has remained out of the public eye and how he has effectively maintained a scandal-free career.

John is known for his commitment to fitness, but he says his disciplined life is about more than health. He revealed that his career has always been managed without the help of an agent or a publicist to generate media attention. The actor mentioned that maintaining privacy in his personal life is a deliberate call since it is separate from his film career. John Abraham explained that the minute his films are over, he stops being newsworthy and retreats into his shell, choosing to speak only when he has something relevant to share.

When he isn’t busy with films, he channels his time into his other passions, with his football academy in Shillong being a key focus. He also spends his time writing new storylines. John Abraham also revealed how his disciplined routine, which includes avoiding Bollywood parties, is in perfect sync with his and his partner's low-profile lifestyle. John Abraham explained that he has always avoided parties, even from before he was married. He said that's because the music was always too loud for him and he doesn't drink. He went on to add that he sleeps very early and wakes up between 4 and 4:30 a.m. After waking up, John spends his time reading and staying informed about world news. Earlier this year he also revealed that he has not skipped a gym workout in 35 years.

Speaking to India Today, John Abraham stated that he agrees censorship is necessary, but he feels its implementation could be better. John shared that it bothers him how right‑wing films seem to draw the biggest audiences these days. But even with all the attention and profits they bring, he has no desire to make one himself.
