Dubai Police Caution Public Over Remote Work Scams

If a message pops up on your phone claiming you can make easy money by doing simple online tasks, pause and think twice before getting involved. Dubai Police have issued a warning about an increasing number of scams offering fake part-time remote jobs. Scammers target people seeking extra income, posting fake jobs online and asking for fees or banking information. In some cases, they misuse victims’ accounts for illegal activities.

Dubai Police reminded everyone that real employers don’t ask for money to hire you. The authority urged people to be careful and check any remote job offers before getting involved. Avoid giving out personal or bank details to strangers, never send money for a job, and deal only with officially recognised and trusted institutions.
