Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru married on Monday, and their wedding photos quickly dominated social media. The actor shared images of herself in a red hand-woven Banarasi sari, but it was her distinctive wedding ring that sparked the most discussion online.

Jewellery commentators noted the ring’s unusual portrait-cut diamond, a style known for its clear, glass-like finish rather than traditional sparkle. According to jewellery expert Priyanshu Goel, only a limited number of workshops specialise in this type of cut, and the ring could be valued at around ₹1.5 crore. He described it as one of the rarest designs he has analysed.

Samantha’s ring features a central stone framed by eight custom portrait-cut diamonds arranged like opening petals, designed to appear elevated without bulk. The design has drawn widespread interest, with many users commenting on its blend of heritage aesthetics and contemporary minimalism.
