Pakistan Nominates Donald Trump For Nobel Peace Prize
Donald Trump complained that he would not get a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts

The Pakistan government has nominated US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. The announcement came in a post on social media platform X. As per the post, the nomination is in recognition of Trump's "decisive diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership during the recent India-Pakistan crisis". However, India has dismissed this claim numerous times. The central government has firmly denied any foreign mediation in its engagement with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, following the nomination, Donald Trump complained that he would not get a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, the US president said, "I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize, no matter what I do." On Friday, Trump also highlighted the peace deal he said the US administration brokered between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
Trump also noted other negotiations he says his administration led, including “stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo” and “keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia.” Trump often complained about Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, criticising that the former president did not deserve the award.
