"This Chapter Is Over": Cristiano Ronaldo Hints At Al Nassr Exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at his exit from Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr with a cryptic social media post. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker wrote the post less than an hour after scoring in the club’s final Saudi Pro League match. Ronaldo finished the season as its highest scorer with 25 goals. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined Al-Nassr in 2022.

"This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Thanks to all," Ronaldo wrote on social media along with a picture of himself in his Al Nassr jersey. The 40-year-old's current contract with the club is set to expire in June. The football legend's social media post has now sparked fan speculation about his next move.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino recently said that Ronaldo might play at the Club World Cup in the US next month. Al Nassr did not qualify for the Club World Cup, but FIFA president suggested that Ronaldo might move to one of the 32 teams playing in the tournament starting on June 14.
