Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year extension with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr. The 40-year-old's previous deal had been due to expire at the end of this month. Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 as a free agent after leaving Manchester United.

"A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together," the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wrote on his X handle, alongside a picture of his contract signing. The club said that the captain’s contract will be valid until 2027. Currently at 938 goals for club and country, Ronaldo is eyeing the 1,000-goal career milestone. For Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has a record of 99 goals from 111 appearances.

For the third year in a row, Cristiano Ronaldo has recently claimed the top spot on Forbes' list of highest-paid athletes. As per the report, his estimated total earnings are around $275 million.
