IPL Set To Resume Today
Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Kolkata Knight Riders in today's high-stakes contest.

The Indian Premier League 2025 is all set to resume today, May 17. The tournament was suspended on May 9 due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. BCCI recently announced that a total of 17 matches will be played across six venues, and the final will be held on June 3.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Kolkata Knight Riders in today's high-stakes contest. The RCB are second on the table with 16 points from 11 matches, and one win is required for them to seal a playoff spot. Meanwhile, KKR are sixth on the table with 11 points. KKR need to win all the remaining games to reach 15 points and hope for a series of favourable results in other matches to enter the playoffs. Notably, BCCI has not yet announced the venues for the IPL playoffs.
At the same time, teams including Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Lucknow Super Giants have announced player replacements. Punjab Kings have picked Kyle Jamieson as a replacement for Lockie Ferguson, and Gujarat Titans have chosen Kusal Mendis as a replacement for Jos Buttler. New Zealand pacer William O'Rourke has been signed by Lucknow Super Giants as an injury replacement for Mayank Yadav.
