Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' Teaser Out
The sequel is set to hit theatres on March 19.
After a massive run at the box office, the sequel to Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. Titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the release date was confirmed through a teaser and poster shared by Ranveer on Instagram on Tuesday. The first film enjoyed a historic run in India and overseas, crossing the ₹1,000-crore mark and emerging as one of the highest-grossing Indian films.
The newly released poster shows Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, clad in a long black leather coat, set against deep red tones that create a dark and intense mood. The first part of the spy action thriller featured an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. The sequel follows soon after the original, which released in theatres on December 5 last year, and is expected to face strong box-office competition from Yash-starrer Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas.
While the first film premiered on Netflix on January 30, the poster suggests that the sequel will stream on Jio Hotstar. T-Series has also joined the project for the sequel, replacing SaReGaMa. However, the teaser has drawn criticism from fans, many of whom have called it a misstep by the marketing team, pointing out that it features no new footage and reuses the same montage from the end of the first film, set to Night Rider–style music.
